A lifelong Strongsville resident, Anthony went through Strongsville City Schools and recently received his Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in business from Kent State University.

Anthony’s collegiate career was highly rewarding, most notably serving as the managing editor for The Kent Stater’s 95-person newsroom. His leadership created opportunity for his fellow student reporters by encouraging greater content coverage across the respective community. Additionally, he helped oversee the newsroom’s budget and payroll, showing him firsthand what it takes to lead an organization.

Today, Anthony is the director of operations at his family’s business, Kalinich Fence Company, in Strongsville. He assists in logistics, shipping and receiving, and daily operations involving personnel and machinery.

Anthony strives toward taking the skillsets, which he accredits his grandfather, Mike Kalinich, Sr. in providing him, and allotting them toward the community and city his family continues to call home.
